When Allah had finished Adam with the clay, He wanted to put His soul into it, in order to revive it. But the soul, a heavenly being as it was, could not enter the body made of mud.
Allah then secretly ordered an angel to enter the clay, and as soon as he entered, he began to sing to the makam Uzal. So it happened. And just the an angel began to sing, the soul was so fascinated by his lip that he rushed to where the voice was heard. So without realizing it, she, in turn, entered Adam's body. When the soul was well established, the angel came out of Adam and stopped singing. Then, the soul became dissatisfied and made her leave too. But in the meantime, Adam had come to life, and he continued to sing in the makam Uzal, equal and even more worthy of the angel. And the soul, ecstatic by the song of man, decided to stay in his body. So she gave him his life and he, in return, gave her his song as a gift...
