Ney is an ancient wind instrument used in many countries from Morocco to Pakistan.

The oldest of excistance evidence was found in images of Egyptian tombs dating to 2500-3000 BC. It is made of reed, which usually has an mouthpiece at the end (baspare).

It can play expressively and accurately the intervals of Byzantine music.

In the traditional music of our country it gives us a very aesthetic character. Its primordial sound reaches nowdays traveling through the human heart.
