The teaching of the traditional clarinet

The teaching of the traditional clarinet is done in a mixed way.

On the one hand, by informing the students about the way of making music, writing and reading, but also by fully training them on the techniques of the traditional instrument, which are created by the various local idioms of our traditional music (Main land- Central Greece, Epirus, Thracian, island, Macedonian and other idioms).

At the same time, there is extensive information about the modal elevelopment of this music (macamia, musical modes, ichos of Byzantine music) as well as the rhythmic accompaniment of the various purposes, supporting the rhythms during the lesson.

Finally, improvisation is taught, taxim for every musical purpose, where the musician is called to highlight his soul, his personality and his training.
